Dental Hygiene
Your Dental Hygiene is important to us!
A beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime is our goal for you. Your personal oral hygiene plays an enormous role in achieving that goal. It all starts at home by eating a balanced diet, drinking lots of water and correctly using the various dental aids that help control the plaque and bacteria that causes dental decay and disease. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.
Tooth Brushing – Brush your teeth at least twice a day, especially before going to bed. A soft bristle toothbrush is ideal. However, an electric toothbrush is the best and they are easy to use and can remove plaque more efficiently.
Flossing – Daily flossing is the best way to clean between the teeth and under the gum-line. Flossing not only helps clean these spaces, it disrupts the plaque from building up, prevent damage to the gums, teeth, and bone. Floss holders are recommended if you have difficulty using conventional floss or if you have braces.
